The section above, but it has been expanded to 400%. We can now see that the object isn't neccessarily black. We can see the Sun is reflecting off the left side, and the right in shadow.

This one is a 550% blow-up. It is on the very edge of pixilation, but we can see the shape better. Please also note that there is some sort of distortion surrounding the object.

Final enlargement at 700% original size. Pixilation has definately set in. The light and shadow division is most interesting now. We can see that the light and shadow gently fade into each other. This is characteristic of a rounded surface. We can also see that the object is rather "bell" shaped. This shape has turned up before, in manned space flight...

My friend, Kathy in South Australia, has been sending me some of the most mind boggling photos of UFOs for well over two years now. She has graciously shared this picture with us so that the rest of the world can see, and think about it. On Sunday, 10 July 2005, Kathy shot the photo below at around 8AM, at the beach, in Adelaide ,South Australia. July is mid-winter in the Southern Hemisphere, so it must have been fairly chilly at the time. Kathy has decided not to copyright these images, so they may be reproduced for fair use, so long as proper credit is given to the source. They may NOT be sold without express written permission. If you would like to contact Kathy, please send mail to: Kathy c/o Jeff Challender Here are Kathy's own words of description concerning the event itself: Sending thru' an attachment , I took this photo last Sunday about 8 am....something was catching my attention, when I got my camera out this black object zoomed in. As usual, have no idea what it is but it isn't a balloon , bird or plane.. You can see the suns reflection from the L hand side. It looks small but when I zoomed it you can actually see an object of some kind. Bye for now... Kathy We have received a second letter from Kathy D., further clarifying the circumstances under which the incident occurred. Regarding the area and conditions...... Photo was taken at 8 am Sunday ( 10 July 2005 - Ed. ) at my beach house, which is situated about 17km from my home here in the foothills of Adelaide . Something was glistening in the sky which caught my attention, when I tried to take a photo the black object came in to view at speed. It then stopped and hovered. I visually saw the object at at the time.. I was facing east, the morning was cool and clear. Difficult to say how far away the object was but it seemed to be about 150-200 meters. The object at the time of the photo, was over the sea and about 45 deg of arc. Camera I used is a Nikon digital coolpix 5900. This may sound odd but I had a feeling I would ' see ' something about 1 hour prior to the sighting. Kathy D....Australia. So, shall we have a good look at what she captured that winter's morn?
