Over Downtown Tokyo!

DVDs Now Available At Project P.R.O.V.E.!

Not long ago I was watching a TV documentary program, titled "The Last Surrender" on the History Channel, concerning the surrender of the last Japanese soldier of World War II. His name was Hiroo Onoda, and he had held out against the world on the Phillipine island of Lubang until 1974, when he was coaxed into finally giving up.

Mr. Onoda, pictured to the left, was greeted in Japan as a major hero. He had stubbornly done what he saw as his duty for more than 30 years. He had not believed that Japan could have lost the war, and refused to accept what he thought were enemy tricks to get him to give himself up.

There was a scene, of downtown Tokyo Japan, shown in the program which portrayed a busy street on a bright clear day. The sky was blue and cloudless. People were seen on the streets tending to their business. There was a large building on a corner with a big screen television showing what appeared to be commercial programming in a prominent spot at the very front of the building. High above in the sky were two orb shaped anomalies. The only movemnt observed, during the time they were visible, was a slight side-to-side motion relative to each other. Had there been only one object, I might have concluded it to be the Moon, or a stray balloon. But these two apparitions didn't fit either category. What they might be is still a mystery.

Have a look at the animated GIFs below to see for yourself.

The anomalies are seen within the yellow circle, which were added using MS Paint™.

Here is the scene, in six frames taken from the 5.5 second clip in which the anomalies were seen. Please note the tiny side-to-side motion demonstrated by the objects.

Now at 200% zoom. This animated GIF does a pretty good job of demonstrating that the objects in question moved slightly relative to each other, but not as far as stationary structures on the ground are concerned.

They are not airplanes, blimps, helicopters, birds, or balloons. What they ARE I cannot tell you.

At the end of the day, it's up to YOU to draw your own conclusions.
