Mr. Kim Shaffer of Bristol Tennessee, USA, contacted me recently with some amazing stills from a video tape he shot near his home.   Mr. Shaffer is the former Tennessee State Director for MUFON.  The dark object in the shots are very much like the objects seen in other places around the world in recent months.  Notably, this object closely resembles the one seen over the Juiquan complex in China at the 15 October launching of China's first manned spacecraft, Shenzhou V.  Another very similar object was seen at the Goodwood Air Fete in early September 2003.  One is given to wonder if these are all the same object, merely seen in different places at different times.  It seems reasonable that if this is a craft from "elsewhere", then it might be exploring many diverse places on our world.  This is speculation only, since we have no way of verifying this concept.  Have a good close look at the high quality photos below, and decide for yourself what this is flying the skies of Tennessee.

This is a 250% blow-up of the third frame. It had the best image of the anomaly.

This frame is a cutout of the 250% blow-up, and has been further enlarged to 500%. We can now see clearly that the object is ovate, or disk shaped. One can also see that there is an apparent flield of distortion round the object.

Now we have the same 500% enlargement, but with the colors reversed. This reveals that the distortion surrounding the object seems to form a swirling pattern. What this anomaly is we cannot say for sure, but it's no airplane, balloon, or helicopter.

At the end of the day, it's up to YOU to draw your own conclusions.
