My Sighting of 2 July 2002

DVDs Now Available At Project P.R.O.V.E.!

I had what I believe to be my sixth (fifth in daylight) UFO sighting on 2 July, 2002. I was here in my office working, when I heard the sound of a rotary aircraft engine outdoors. The time was about 9:30 AM PDT. Since I have a great deal of trouble walking, and was home alone at the time, it took a bit of effort and time to make my way out for a look see. Sure enough, there was a 30s vintage Navy bi-plane trainer flying across the northern portion of the sky at about 1000 feet altitude. What made this different was the there were also two white orb shaped objects up there too. The plane was flying west to east, and these orbs were flying south to north, passing within 100 feet or so of the trainer's tail at right angles. I doubt that the pilot of the plane ever saw the objects.

I wanted very much to have my binoculars for a better look at these things, but move so painfully and slowly, that it would have been hopeless. The objects continued on their northerly course, flying side by side, about 100 feet apart, at no more than 1000 feet altitude. At their closest point to me they were approximately 1/4 to 1/3 mile distant, and opened that distance from first notice on. My estimate is that these things were traveling at approximately 500 to 700 mph. This is very near the speed of sound, yet they were silent, and there was no sonic boom. This sighting marks the first time I have, out of five previous experiences since April 1974, had a "repeat". The two objects seen on 2 July were exactly the same in appearance as those seen with my wife and son on 11 January 2002, in Roseville, California.
